The state Commandant, NSCDC Ekiti state, Mr. Donatus Ikemefuna, said in a statement on Wednesday that the command had arrested four persons in connection with the illegal act.
The operation was made possible by the combined action of the Corps and the examination body to oversee any operation in relation to the exam including securing exam centers. It was also noted that the suspects were arrested in different locations of the state.
He went on and condemned the defrauding of unsuspecting parents, guardians and wards by some internet fraudsters.
Ikemefuna advised Nigerians to be careful with cyber café and their owners that were selling both fake JAMB forms and printing fake admission letters. He also urged them to patronize registered accredited JAMB registration centres and report any cyber café or their owners involved in the feigned practice to the NSCDC.
